Made this Quilling Typography canvas today. I wanted to finish it quickly as Holi is coming. It falls on 13th March this year. Took me two days to finish it. Got the idea of putting water guns later. The quilled water guns cover the blank space nicely, me thinks. The word Holi is quilled in Hindi, my mother tongue.

Making lots of quilled flowers. Quilling is definitely time consuming. But also therapeutic and calming. Pat on the BackThis post is for Lulupu craft challenge for the month of May. I wanted to try my hand on mini albums so I thought to join in the fun. Not that I have much experience of making 12 x 12 albums. My first and only attempt till date at scrapbooking was when I made an album for my parents' anniversary. What I dread in making albums, is how to fill space. In that sense, mini albums pose less risk 😊.

Here again I have colored it using 'no lines' coloring technique. The ribbon flowers were bought from our local haberdashery shop. The fabric flower on the sentiment stamp ( crafty Individuals) is handmade. I followed a video on youtube ( Fiona Jennings) to make this fabric flower. Fiona is an amazing crafter.
