This time I want to share a bookmark that I made. It's an embroidered bookmark inspired by Erica Fortgens. I have a lot of Erica Fortgens card and bookmark making kits, but never got around to making anything. Then I found a book written by her and made an embroidered heart card. The instructions were very simple and easy.
This week creative craft challenge is holding a challenge to make a bookmark. I thought of using one of the bookmarks from the kit as template. I used a yellow card for embroidering the pattern then cut it. Stamped a white card with a star like foam based stamp.Again cut 2mm strips of yellow card and glued them around white card to make outline. Then pasted the embroidered design and added some flat backed sparkly flowers.
