Layout for Sarah's Challenge

The layout is made using sarah's sketch. The pics are a bit blurry as I am using the  tablet to take snaps and post them here. The corner roses (lower left)and swirls are done using distress cackle paints worn lipstick and mustard seed on a flex shablone corner stencil. The roses on the upper left corner are handmade by drawing a circle then cutting three six petal shapes. The swirls are die cut with whimsy dies. The title is hand written over the frame for which I used distress crackle paint picket fence.

Challenge Entry for Lulupu : Handmade Desktop Calendar

Here is a desktop calendar that I made for Lulupu Challenge. Though I am satisfied with it as my first attempt, there are a couple of things that I missed or could have done better.
1) I didn't have an eyelet setter so I had to make do with punching a hole. Eyelet would have made to look it more professional. 2) While fixing the calendar tabs on individual pages, I didn't notice the significance of each month, so I have pretty pink roses in the month of autumn October. But I did get one thing right by chance.  My wedding anniversary falls in November and I made a romantic LO :)
Anyway here is my calendar and individual photos.

Scrapology Layout: S is for Splicing

This is my first LO for scrapology challenge. I have used  stamps from MME Miss Caroline, Teressa Collins Memorablia and Bo bunny Snap collections. The die cut paper is either Pink Paislee or Bo bunny ( sorry I am really bad at remebering names, I could tell the names of stamps because I could go back to my stash to have a look :) The journalling is done on Kanban vintage tapestry paper which is die cut using spellbinders card creator. The picture was taken at Stonehenge and is one of the few photos where the whole family is photographed, as it is usually me behind the camera.

I think I can enter the Layout to Lulupu challenge too.

Spellbinders Filligree Hinged Easel Card

magnolia tilda
This is my second entry for Charmed Cards and
Crafts challenge.  I especially like the flowers in this easel card, which I made from the left over shapes from wplus9 quilt die. The butterflies are from hobbycraft. I saw a video tutorial on youtube by Becca Feeken where she taught how to make filligree hinged cards from spellbinders dies. I really liked the idea and turned the idea into this easel card.

Another LO using distress inks and masks

I have used Tim Holtz mini mask and Prima masks on this layout. The flowers are die cut from Joy crafts floral flourish 5 die. The swirls are die cut from Whimsy stamps die and Wplus9 dies. This is my second entry for Merly Imressions Challenge. I am also entering the LO to Sketchbook365 and Charmed Cards and crafts challenge ( Autumn) and I think it will also fit the Rhedd and Rosie Challenge ( I have used DCWV and Sasfrass Lass papers which I have had for ages)

My First Ever Scrapbook Layout

Technically this is my third LO. But I made the other two for a mystery project which I can't reveal. You never know who might be reading :) Anyhoo, I have been meaning to participate in a couple of scrapbooking challenges, but ......... I based this LO on Sarah's November challenge. Over at Merly Impressions, the challenge is to use stencils. This is the first time I used stencil/mask on any of my projects. I don't have many stencils ( only one actually), so I tried cheating and used sizzix framelit die as my stencil and painted the area with blue acrylic paint. But the result wasn't to my liking so I glued black frame over the stencilled part. Next I experimented with my Imagination Crafts honeycomb mask. I was a bit impatient to take it off, and smudged the area in the process. At the bottom right corner, I embroidered waves.

Valentine's Day Tri Shutter Card

\\tri shutter card
I made this card a long time back, when I first learned to make tri shutter cards. Today I found it while putting my other cards in the box. I have used See D's stamps for the this card and Anita's ( I think) peel offs. I colored the couple with promarkers. I used a flower rubon too, but don't remeber the brand. The papers are downloaded from Cardmaking and Papercrafts.
I am entering this card in:
